The Natural Gas Council responds to an earlier letter from industrial organizations. The Council members assert that new natural gas supplies make it possible to expand natural gas usage in the electric and transportation sectors and support the use of natural gas as a solution for reducing emissions. The Council members also state that they are opposed to legislation which places natural gas at a disadvantage as compared with other energy resources.
