INGAA Responds to Permitting Reforms in the Bipartisan Budget Agreement

WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, United States – Amy Andryszak, President & CEO of INGAA, released the following statement in response to the permitting provisions included in the Bipartisan Budget Agreement announced by President Biden and Speaker McCarthy over the weekend:  

“We applaud the bipartisan agreement on the debt limit which avoids default and continues the conversation around much needed permitting reform in this country.  The NEPA reforms included in this legislation are an important first step towards achieving the kind of permitting reform needed to get the United States back to building energy infrastructure of all kinds in this country.  INGAA looks forward to building on this momentum by working in a bipartisan manner to advance additional permitting reforms in the coming months.”
