Don Santa, president and CEO of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, today released the following statement on the Senate’s confirmation of Colette Honorable to be a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission:
“The interstate natural gas pipeline industry looks forward to working with Commissioner Honorable to promote the pipeline infrastructure needed to transport abundant, clean-burning domestic natural gas.
“Commissioner Honorable’s experience as the chair of the Arkansas Public Service Commission and president of the National Association of Regulatory Commissioners has a provided her with a strong background on natural gas policy.
“INGAA has always enjoyed a strong working relationship with FERC, and our member pipeline companies intend to do their part to ensure that America reaches its energy potential—while creating jobs and economic prosperity—by continuing to serve as the indispensable link between natural gas producers and consumers.”
