The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) submits comments in response to the Proposed Revisions to the Endangered Species Act Section 7 Consultation Regulations, 73 Fed. Reg 47868 (August 15, 2008) by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (collectively, Services).
INGAA commends the Services for investing the time and effort necessary to streamline and improve the administration of the ESA while fulfilling the Act’s species protection purposes. INGAA generally supports the Services’ proposed revisions to the Section 7 consultation regulations, with a few clarifications and additions reflected in its comments.
