To meet America’s future energy needs, we need to build more infrastructure – from pipelines and power lines to power plants and offshore wind. Working families need energy now, yet infrastructure permitting in the U.S. entails years of red tape. This status quo is no longer acceptable. There is a solution, but it requires Congress to take action: update the federal statutes which would reform the permitting process to build essential energy infrastructure in America.
