The Department of Transportation is hosting a Pipeline Safety Forum from 9:00 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m. April 18, 2011 at DOT. This follows Transportation Secretary LaHood’s a couple of weeks ago that he intends to look at pipeline safety issues and propose steps to improve safety performance. The Forum is open to the press. Three speakers will represent INGAA at the event:
- Christopher Helms, Executive VP/Group CEO, Nisource, and lead of the INGAA board-level pipeline safety task force
- J. Andrew Drake, VP Spectra Energy, who is helping to lead INGAA’s Integrity Management Continuous Improvement effort
- R. Allan Bradley, President/CEO, Questar Pipeline, and INGAA chairman.
