The board of directors of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America announced the election October 8 of Michael McMahon, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. (NYSE: BWP), as chairman of the INGAA board of directors for a one-year term from October 2015 to October 2016.
“Mike’s experience and expertise as a long-standing practitioner representing pipelines before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, and as a corporate lawyer, will be a strategic asset for INGAA as we take on the many challenges facing us in the coming year,” said INGAA president and CEO Don Santa. “As the chairman of INGAA, Mike will be at the forefront of our industry’s efforts to advance natural gas as a solution to the nation’s energy, environmental and economic challenges and promote pipelines as the essential link between natural gas suppliers and consumers.”

• Enhancing interstate natural gas pipelines’ ability to construct new capacity in a timely manner.
