WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, March 4, 2025 – Amy Andryszak, President & CEO of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) released the following statement following President Donald J. Trump’s joint address to Congress:
“Expanding natural gas infrastructure is key to meeting the growing demand for affordable, reliable, and secure energy. INGAA appreciates President Trump’s mention tonight of his administration’s prioritization of expanding domestic energy production and building a new natural gas pipeline in Alaska. As we expand natural gas production, however, we also need to streamline permitting processes to accelerate the expansion of infrastructure that transports it safely to consumers. INGAA members are prepared to build the much-needed energy infrastructure our country needs, and we look forward to working with both the legislative and executive branches to make that a reality.”
