Alison J. McKeithen is an accomplished Senior Event Director with a remarkable career spanning over 19 years in the event management industry. Alison thrives on collaborative work, generating innovative ideas, developing effective plans, and efficiently managing initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on cost-effectiveness and continuous process improvement. Over Alison’s career she has worked for Time LIFE Music, Associated Black Charities, DC Chamber of Commerce, the American Dental Education Association and NMAC (formerly National Minority AIDS Council). Alison received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Howard University and her master’s in business administration from Trinity University. Alison has solidified her event management skills by earning the coveted Certified Meeting Planner designation in addition to her event management certificate from George Washington University. Outside of her professional endeavors, Alison has skills in furniture refurbishing, home and car repairs. For leisure, she enjoys roller-skating, learning golf, and volunteering at an adaptive riding equestrian facility. Alison resides in Upper Marlboro, MD with her energetic puppy Harper Poppy.
