INGAA Congratulates Transportation Secretary Duffy

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 29, 2025 – Amy Andryszak, President & CEO of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) issued the following statement following the swearing in of Secretary Sean Duffy to lead the U.S. Department of Transportation –

“INGAA congratulates Sean Duffy on being confirmed and sworn in as secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The DOT oversees several important agencies, including the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), which sets national pipeline safety policy, establishes and enforces safety standards, and conducts research to prevent incidents. Safety is the top priority for all INGAA members, and we look forward to working with Secretary Duffy and his team to achieve our collective goal of zero incidents and to establish durable regulations to improve safety and integrity of the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of natural gas pipeline infrastructure.”
