WASHINGTON, D.C., January 20, 2025 – INGAA President and CEO Amy Andryszak issued the following statement on the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as President and J.D. Vance as Vice President of the United States:
“INGAA and our membership congratulate President Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, and look forward to working with the President, his administration, and the new Congress to realize our shared goals of energy affordability, reliability, and leadership on the global stage.
“Natural gas and the critical infrastructure that safely transports it from production to end use are vital to achieving U.S. energy dominance. Energy security and national security are inextricably linked, and practicable, durable regulatory frameworks are required to enable the natural gas industry to get back to building the domestic energy infrastructure that will achieve U.S. energy dominance and security.
“Accomplishing our shared energy goals cannot happen without natural gas and its related infrastructure. The INGAA membership is eager to work with the incoming administration, who understands the important role energy plays in our economy, to advance a safe, reliable, and affordable energy economy for all Americans.”
