WASHINGTON, D.C., November 6, 2024 – INGAA President & CEO Amy Andryszak issued the following statement on the election of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America:
“INGAA congratulates President-Elect Trump and Vice President-Elect Vance on their election and looks forward to working with their administration to advance the priorities of the natural gas pipeline industry.
“Natural gas has played a critical role in ensuring energy affordability, reliability, and in shoring up national security. As demand for energy, and natural gas in particular, continues to grow, we will need to continue to build the pipelines required to move that gas to end users, including homes, businesses, LNG export facilities, industrial manufactures, and increasingly data centers.
“The natural gas pipeline industry appreciates President Trump’s leadership on American energy and specifically issues important to the natural gas pipeline industry, and stands ready to work with the Trump administration and Congress to advance policies and legislation that will encourage the buildout of necessary energy infrastructure.”
