The INGAA Foundation Planning and Strategy Meeting is coming up on August 7th – 8th at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine (www.samosetresort.com). The Samoset Resort offers a first-class meeting facility and a championship golf course on 230 oceanside acres.
The August Meeting agenda is as follows:
· Registration starts on Thursday the 7th, at 2:30 p.m.
· At 4:00 p.m., we will officially begin the Planning and Strategy meeting with an important keynote address by Branko Terzic. Mr. Terzic, a Global & U.S. Regulatory Policy Leader of Energy & Resources at Deloitte Services LP, is also Chairman of the Ad Hoc Group of Experts on Cleaner Electricity and Production from Coal and Other Fossil Fuels, of the United Nations Economic Commission for the Europe Committee on Sustainable Energy. He is an expert on global electricity demand and an advocate for active political engagement to promote clean energy.
· Following the keynote, we will have the INGAA Foundation reception and dinner at 6:00 p.m.
Friday will begin with an INGAA Foundation breakfast at 7:00 a.m., followed by the planning and studies working session, which begins at 8:00 a.m. The Planning and Strategy meeting occurs annually between the Spring Meeting and the Annual Meeting. This meeting is an important opportunity to review and fine tune study proposals that are presented for approval at the Foundation’s Annual Meeting in November.
The meeting adjourns by noon on Friday. For those who can join us, we will be heading to the golf course at 12:30 p.m.
