The Tax Committee is a joint INGAA/AGA committee. Its membership includes approximately 30 INGAA members and 80 AGA members (with some overlap, as some companies are members of both INGAA and AGA).
The committee provides a forum for sharing information on current federal and state tax audit issues, recent tax court cases and legislative and regulatory updates. The committee also develops and advocates tax initiatives that further our goal of increasing natural gas supply and encouraging new pipeline capacity.
The committee meets on a semi-annual basis. The Fall meeting is held in Washington, D.C. in order to provide an opportunity for related meetings with Congress and the Executive Branch. The location of the Spring meeting rotates among member company cities.
